I love when I discover things I have in common with my children. This is something that happens nearly daily since, as they grow, they discover things they like or dislike, etc. Today, as the children and I were walking into the church building, my son was walking and stomping rather erratically.
"What are you doing, son?" I queried.
With a huge "DUH" in his voice, he replied, "I'm stepping on dead leaves, Mom. They make a cool crunching noise."
I love to step on leaves for that very reason. I discovered last year that a good friend of mine, Alana, also loves to crunch leaves. I was excited to tell her this story this morning at church, and she found it amusing.
Get out there and crunch some leaves.

Yay! Personally, I think the world could use a few more leaf crunchers ;-)
